i want to enable cookies of one specific service on one specific site but all i can find is the 3 options of blocking all cookies, block 3rd party and enable all.
to clarify with example: im on site X that has a comment section service that is run by Y site. so i want to enable only Y’s service’s cookies as 3rd party cookies(so i dont need to “log in” each time when visiting site X). preferably only on site X, though i can manage if its on all other sites using Y’s service.
is it possible?
hat’s correct.
Site-specific settings are managed through the Shields lion icon/widget. . Anything changed there is just for one website.
To allow 3rd party cookies, set it to allow all cookies. Another way to think of it is: don't allow cookies at all,
only allow 1st party while blocking 3rd party,
or allow both 1st and 3rd party cookies.
yeah, i got that but im asking if there is a way to get a better filtering resolution: “allow 1st party cookies and block 3rd party cookies except for that one source”
