How disable Brave update pop up when brave start?

Hi
every time i start brave, i get a brave update popup.
If I DON’T want to update Brave and I don’t want to have this popup every time Brave is launched, is there a way?

The browser will download and attempt to apply updates while using the browser or while its closed. To be completely honest and precise, I have the same type of notification with Firefox.
I understand that there are updates available for the browser, but if I don’t want to have it I shouldn’t have these pop ups every time I launch and close the browser. Thanks

Maybe the problem also comes from the windows side?
(If I understand correctly, if I disable this notification in windows the application will be updated without me knowing).

The notification you’re seeing is a Windows UAC prompt. The browser will still ask you to update it but without prompts if UAC is disabled. More about User Account Control here:
