Description of the issue:
Horizontal scrolling doesn’t work very well or at all.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Open Google sheets, use a mouse with horizontal scrolling capabilities. I’m using the Logitech MX Master. Changing tabs and going back to Google Sheets makes horizontal scrolling work for a moving across a single cell before stopping. Opening an incognito tab with a https://codepen.io/jaemskyle/pen/inbmB makes the scrolling element work for a single scroll tick.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Horizontal scrolling works for a single cell tick and then stops on Google Sheets. Similar behavior on other sites like https://codepen.io/jaemskyle/pen/inbmB.
Expected result:
Horizontal scrolling on Google Sheets and on any other website with horizontal scrolling capabilities.

Scrolling works fine in Chrome. No change to my mouse or set up.

Thanks for reaching out. Just confirming - this only happens when using the Logitech mouse or does this hold when using a trackpad, separate mouse, etc.? Also which OS?

I’ve reached out the team for additional input as I’m not entirely sure why this would be the case. Does this still happen when Shields are down?
Hmm interesting. You mentioned Sheets and codepen in your initial post. What about other sites? For example, if you visit https://deanoakley.com/, does this site produce the same result? Checking a similar site with similar functionality may help as well - like testing this on Excel in Office365 (if you have an account that is, but its just an exmaple).
If we can find the common link between the sites that you see this behavior the cause may reveal itself. Let me know what you find out.
I have the same issue. Same mouse as well. The deanoakley.com site doesn’t work for me. I also run into the issue on Tweetdeck and Gmail (essentially anywhere horizontal scrolling is available).

What operating system are you using when you encounter this?
I’m able to scroll horizontally on all Brave release channels on both sites you mentioned above on macOS:
Windows 10. Tweetdeck will ocassionally work (maybe 15% of the time). I am able to horizontal scroll with the trackpad, but not the horizontal scrollwheel on the MX Master.
