High CPU usage, Mac

Macbook pro high CPU usage if brave is open for a few days.
Open brave, have a few tabs open, such as maybe messages or facebook. After a few days, I notice the fans running constantly on the laptop. Looking at Activity Monitor, brave threads are huge CPU users. Quitting Brave and restarting resolves the issue every time.

Version 1.56.20 Chromium: 115.0.5790.171 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Macos 10.14.6 Mojave (latest my laptop will officially run)

Can you test in private window mode (no extensions), also is hardware acceleration enabled (disabled it will use more cpu).
