Having trouble viewing passwords imported from FF into Brave

Hello and advance apologies if this topic is covered elsewhere.
I honestly did search and found one closed thread that did not
help. Any Who, I am getting this pop up when trying to verify
a password(s) in Brave on my wife’s computer. Using Windows
10 on shared private network at home.

“Brave is trying to show passwords. Type your Windows password to allow this.”

We have no Windows password.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Can you elaborate a bit on what you mean when you say

  1. What exactly do you mean by “verify” in this context?
  2. Would you be able to share a screenshot of the message you see as its displayed on your end?
