Get passwords back from crashed pc

Hello,

I need help for recovering passwords from crashed ssd disk. I managed to copy the default folder with the file Login Data. I couldn’t copy the hole user folder because the disk failes after about 10 seconds each time.

i know the password of my account on the crashed pc.

i have read the topics about it and copied the login data file to my new installation folder on new ssd disk.
when opening brave settings no passwords are shown.
For some people this works but at mine it does nothing.

i have tried to reinstall windows again with the same username and password, then installed brave again and copied the file again. Still no passwords.

I also tried to copy the hole default folder but same result

Does anybody know how to recover passwords in Brave or outside Brave?

My operating system is windows 10 64 bit
Versie 1.34.81 Chromium: 97.0.4692.99 (Officiële build) (64-bits)

Unfortunately there is no way to recover those passwords. Even if you do have the right file/files in your User Data folder, your newly installed OS will not be able to decrypt those files.
