Hello, I can’t open my Gemini account. I keep getting the same error when I try to open it. I’m worried that the 1092 bat I earned this month will not be credited to my account.
You need to provide more information for someone to help you better.
1: Specifically what error are you getting?
2: What are you doing? Are you linking your account? are you logging in on gemini’s website?
I’d like to share a little info. I ditched Gemini for Uphold because they told me their integration with Brave is broken, and they closed numerous support tickets I entered over the past 3 weeks. I was getting an internal server error when trying to link my wallet to Brave. If the same thing is happening to you, it’s a Gemini issue, not brave.
You can check the logs at: brave://rewards-internals/ . Try to link your wallet, and then click refresh. If it says “Internal Server error” and “cannot claim wallet!” Then you’re having the same issue I did. If that’s the case, you’ll just have to sit tight, or go make a Gemini support ticket.
@voxx0678 Are you talking about linking your wallet to Gemini or are you saying you’re having issues logging into Gemini?

Update Jan 25, 2022: Thank you everybody for your patience. We are working with the Gemini team to get everything back up and running. We currently expect Gemini user wallets in Brave Rewards to be back online around Feb 2-3, 2022 (next week).
If it’s the second, not being able to log in to Gemini, then you’ll need to be in contact with their customer service to help. BAT is saved to your browser and if it’s linked, will transfer to the wallet there when things are working.
