[Fixed] Weird window border in brave-browser context menus

[Fixed] Fixed around version~=128.1.69.162

After the latest update (from 1.67.119 to 1.67.123) of brave-browser in my Linux machine I am facing this weird issue where any context menus within the browser has a weird white border around it.

Using a compositor like picom solves the issue. I don’t use any compositor for my setup. But, the previous versions of brave I had (i.e. <1.67.119) worked fine without any compositor.

Way to reproduce:

  1. Use a standalone window manager with no compositor (X11).
  2. Open any menus

Expected result: Weird white borders
Brave Version: 1.67.123
Additional Information:

  • Distro: Linux Mint 21.1
  • WM: DWM
  • Compositor: None
