This is further to the threads informing the Brave devs of a problem with file dialogues not rendering, making it look like Brave has hung.
Only Brave exhibits this behaviour on my and other systems, so it is something Brave is doing which is out of the ordinary or unconventional.
As this is still an issue, and has been for a few years, I have opened this new thread in order to inform the developers that the issue persists.
The symptoms are as described both in text and in video so there is a decent example of what is happening.
If further information is required, please inform your users as to which process they can gather and submit debugging data for you.
