How can this issue be reproduced?
- Updating via the setting tab of the browser
Expected result:
- An error occurred while checking for updates: Update check failed to start (error code 3: 0x80004002 – system level)

Additional Information:
- Running brave on Windows 11 Version 22H2
- Having reinstalled brave the error that occurred persisted.
