Facebook Excessive memory usage

When I use Facebook and scroll down, memory usage increases, until eventually it crashes. I’ve tried it in Private mode, and done everything suggested in previous posts. It doesn’t happen when viewing “Reels” in F/B. The problem only started a week ago, when I was using the 32bit version. I’ve since loaded the 64bit version, but problem persists. Any suggestions? Is it worth trying Windows memory Cleaner (snipca.com/48878)?

What does the task manager built into Brave show?

Windows Task manager shows 865 in total for Brave.

Windows memory cleaner doesn’t prevent excessive memory use.
If I load F/B in Maxthon and scroll down 50 times, task manager shows 10% memory use.
In Brave it shows 28% and increases the more I scroll until it crashes.
Does anyone have a fix for this?
