Description of the issue:
After having been in full screen, upon coming out, the borders of the window are altered such that there is no longer a completely visible header and attempts to click on items (e.g., button, drop-down, etc.) are located below the visible point; i.e., the user must move below the item and watch for the item to react to the hover and click there but this is not the location of the mouse cursor.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open any page and change it to full-screen either by hitting F11 or selecting it from the menu.
- Use the page for a while.
- Go back out of full-screen; e.g., press F11.
Expected result:
Returning from full-screen should continue to work without issues as it does if having never gone into full-screen.

I’ve not found any specific amount of time that is pertinent. It doesn’t happen immediately after going to full-screen; i.e., going to full-screen and immediately back doesn’t cause this. But going to full-screen, working for a few minutes, and then coming back does invoke it every time.
I’ve also found that, if after this behavior manifests, if I hit F11 again to go to full-screen and then F11 again to exit full-screen, it is cleared up; the borders are normal and mouse interaction is normal. I think this is because, going into full-screen and immediately back never invokes this incorrect behavior and by doing this it is “resetting” something that allows it to come back as if this was the first time going into full-screen and then immediately coming back.
