Same here, I also belong to india. We people of india hope that team is working on it. my petition is that fix this issue as soon as possible because I have to change my HDD to SSD but my all brave rewards are still there in brave default wallent.
Look if i change my hdd to ssd but i keep my brave browers data & files on my hdd so will i able to get my brave rewards back by connecting hdd to my computer after installing ssd in my laptop ?

This is not an issue. It is a temporary decision made via Uphold ā details can be viewed here:
Iām getting kinda sick of this āRegion not supportedā message that BOTH Uphold and Gemini have decided to show. If this doesnāt get sorted in a month, Iām uninstalling Brave. Indians are not 2nd class citizens and we donāt like to get treated this way. You have been warned Brave, you have 1 month to save your company. You will get no growth if Indians donāt use your browser.

You canāt simply take decision to stop connecting wallets. You should have an alternative for that. Brave call itself web3.0 browser and works like web2.0.

Whatās going on with all the recent Regional changes, such as India?
Weāve moved fast in trying to get BAT to everyone and make ourselves available in as many regions as possible. Unfortunately each government has different restrictions and weāve encountered some pushback from that in different countries. For example, each country has different requirements for KYC/AML among other things that werenāt being met by current standards, so those regions had to be put on hold while this gets resolved.
We really want India and other countries to be able to be Verified and are working behind the scenes to do everything we need. We hope to get this resolved ASAP but thereās no timeline.
Why canāt we use Coinbase, Binance, or other exchanges?
The process in having a business relationship with exchanges is more difficult than Users may realize. There are a lot of fees and other arrangements that need to be set up to happen.
That said, we are in talks with multiple and hoping to reach new deals to expand offerings. In fact, we canāt give details, but we have a major deal weāre hoping to reach soon that would make Users very happy. We are also always reaching out and trying to do business with other companies, but it takes time.

I do not participate in Brave Rewards. But I understand there are sometimes very pro-longed struggles, when trying to get a development project thru its stages . . . and people are frustrated because āthere is no end in sight.ā
My view, is that everybody using Brave Rewards, is a participant in its Research and Development - a very long series of field tests.
I am a mere student, too.

Guys you put Switzerland on hold? What is the reason and why shall one continue to use brave if not for the rewards?

Over the night you cannot notice yourself that rewards are not inline with government policies.
Itās well planned by brave thiefs to stole our entire BAT two days before the monthly credit cycle.
If you are genuine you should have informed us in advance to transfer the BAT to our own wallet.
Even now you are lying. Brave do not have brave to tell us the service has been shutdown in India.
