Earlier reported website ad block failure now enhanced

Description of the issue: Virtually same as here. Just for clarification to avoid vagueness, I am using “Desktop Site” version since as a ‘voracious researcher’, the mobile web version has been retired by now since the original posting of that thread, when it was ostensibly supported. I have also tried changing it to “Aggressive”, logging-out to delete the site-settings and clearing cache of the browser app and then revisiting the site, it doesn’t change anything.

Exact URL of the website in question: https://hotstar.com/in/home

Screenshot of the ad as it appears in Brave:

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? (yes/no) Yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? Relevance is not understood, but for the sake of being perplexingly excessive: The UX remains the same with “Aggressive” Brave Shields or “Allow All”.

Does the ad appear when using a Private window as well? (yes/no) Yes

What OS are you using when you see the ad? Android 14 (OxygenOS 14.0 skin)

Brave version (check About Brave): Brave 1.71.114, Chromium 130.0.6723.58

UPDATE: Voilà! This got fixed within hours of posting. Guess the champs are far more proactive than most.

And as if that wasn’t exceptional/miraculous enough, they also believe in the mantra of “do good and forget it” — too.

Thank You So Much, y’all!

UPDATE #2: Nope! Turns out… The ads served by the website’s in-house advertising platform only remain disappeared on “Standard” as long as the ad itself doesn’t change. To wit, a fresh ad does load fully and properly. Changing it to “Aggressive” does away with already-loaded newer ad. So exactly as Mr “@mouli” told us there. Guess I’ve to use “Aggressive” for at least a week to see if it manages to stop a fresh ad from being served, as well.

UPDATE #3: Yep, same failure with the “Aggressive” mode — too.
