Ability to change search engine and edit the keywords while searching from address bar (UPDATE: the latter now solved)

Hello, a-gain! While being a constant subscriber of the forum’s newsletter, I am back to using Brave browser. And Thanks mostly to I having a new desirable gizmo, I decided to finally switch to Brave full-time/primarily and join in on facing growing-pains unlike earlier by reflecting on the words of fellow community members and yes, mostly to the adage of “new beginnings” with the new device helping me to adopt the uncharacteristic positive-thinking.

So: In that vein, I have already noted and addressed the problems and their resolutions and lack thereof in this fledging endeavour as opposed to rival Opera for Android.

One such thing is: Already posted to varying degrees in miscellaneous now-locked threads like this one for Desktop even though as another forumite seemingly objected that their belief of that feature’s presence in iOS stable build is mistaken and there does a vagueness whether they want it to do whenever they want from the address bar or only till performing the first search in a browsing session, a nearly-identical thread which also a reply by courteous “@Mattches” like few other such queries but above all, but what’s most relevant is this: Add search engine switch on the fly in the search bar.
As if argumentum ad populum isn’t good enough.
As it turns out, there’s also a Philosophical argument for it: {body of text lost from here due to drafting error} Search engine selection to help people stop and think before searching instead of using whatever the default is set to.
{Additional text about Brave Search & Google to mostly-unrelated ad-blocking and Brave Ads*, et al yet to be reproduced. Based on commenter demand for additional context, if any.}
UPDATE: Guess I missed posting ‘And another:’ which would have been the ability to edit search criteria/keywords in the browser’s bar from the results webpage, but guess I forgot since I’m not doing well and this was fixed just now in the latest [stable] build of the browser released just hours earlier from the time of this post’s original revision, given I postponed posting this topic by days — par for the course. So Thank You for that, giving us that none of us forumites felt compelled to publicly ask for it.

*That part about Brave Shields has been repurposed as a seperate topic of a bug report, now.

Edit Note: Fixed 2 typos and added a note about ad-blocking.
Edit Note #2: Added the updated prose with the missed details about the 2nd feature in title which has been already resolved just now and improved some terminology.
