Drop down menus appear on wrong monitor when maximized

Description of the issue:
When clicking on any of the buttons or extensions that would have a drop down/pop out menu while the browser is maximized, it will appear offset on a different monitor. If I disable the right monitor through settings and re-enable it, it fixes the issue temporarily. This issue does not occur when the window is not maximized.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Brave.
  2. Maximize window.
  3. Click on the menu drop down.

Expected result:
Drop down menu should appear directly below the menu button.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.75.180 Chromium: 133.0.6943.126 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Strange issue – are the other monitors set as “extended” displays? Also, if you were to right-click something on the left-hands side of the browser, does the context menu appear on the right monitor still? Or does it appear on the left (or where it is supposed to)?

Yes, the monitors are set as extended displays. Here’s what I have learned since posting:

  1. Disabling the right most monitor and re-enabling it only fixes the placement of the BitWarden extension.
  2. Putting the window on the left most monitor gets rid of the issue.
  3. Hovering over the pop out options (ie. Help or History) opens them in the correct place visually, as if the menu was in the normal spot, however the actual hitboxes for the pop outs are offset as if they were directly next to the visual menu.

I will see if I can’t get further screenshots when I am back at my desk tomorrow.

It seems like the latest update (1.75.181) resolved the issue. Not sure what caused it originally though.
