Does Brave VPN also work on a desktop or laptop?

I understand that Brave’s VPN works on iPhones and iPads. But what about desktops and laptops? Do I need to use another VPN when surfing on my Mac? Please advise.

It’s currently only available on iOS, but to my knowledge they’re planning on adding it for desktop sometime this year
