VPN in browser iOS

I’m trying to discover if the Brave VPN works by default on iOS. I’m on iPad and searching for the tag vpn yielded nothing. I could not even add a “vpn” tag to this post. This might be possible but it’s not obvious. I’m a developer so I’m pretty good at finding such things BUT it’s not as easy on iOS as on OSX.

I went to the App Store and didn’t see Brave VPN as a separate download. Tapping the download button in Brave just points to the App Store.

Can you confirm that you have the latest version of the application? If so, you should see options in Brave Settings to install a VPN profile/enable it. See the following:

It’s v 1.20 looks like release 9/11/20. VPN is a paid subscription which I didn’t realize. I’ll assess this and probably sign up soon.

Does the Brave VPN only work with Brave Browser or also other apps and the iOS in general?

It works on Brave and any/all apps on the iOS.
