Desktop mode does not work on Android tablets

The desktop mode still does not work on Android tablets.

-Description of the issue: The desktop mode does not work on Android tablets. Of course, the desktop view is activated on Settings > Site Settings > Desktop site, as well as on the drop down menu for each particular website. However, only the mobile view is displayed (sometimes with flaws, since texts and images are shown incomplete or cropped -see the attached screenshot of an Instagram page, for example).
The only site which is properly displayed is the Google Search results page.

-Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch Brave

  2. Activate the Desktop Mode on Settings

  3. Visit any website

-Actual Result: The mobile version of the website is displayed instead of the requested desktop view.

-Expected result: The desktop view should be properly displayed.

-Reproduces how often: Always.

-Brave Version: Brave 1.68.233 (Chromium 127.0.6533.73)

-Android/iOS Model: Android 11 and Android 13 on 2 different 10" tablets.

-Additional Information: This problem appeared almost a year ago. I reported it previously, and I also complained about it on the feedback I left on GooglePlay. I’ve read posts from another Brave users reporting the same issue. I can’t understand why it remains unfixed. I keep the app updated expecting a solution, but the problem persists month after month.
