Decreased amount of rewards per ad from 0.100 BAT to 0.010 BAT

Hello Sir,
Brave ads rewards per ad notification are actually decreased, 10 days ago I got 1 bat per 10 to 15 ads notifications , but now after 25-Dec-2020, I got 1 bat per 80-100 ads notifications and this is a 90% decrease, so have you decreased brave ads rewards per ad notification or not???

So admire u. U still can get 1 bat everyday 10-15ads. Few month ago my reward already reduce. I get only 0.230-0.280 bat only everyday. So average one month i just get around 5-8 bat only so sad the reward reduce dramatically compare to last time.

The ad campaigns determine BAT distribution. It is no different than how a rewards site pays X amount for X survey–though a rewards site offers far greater transparency than Brave(…and NEVER would I believed myself to EVER use that last phrase regarding transparency).

There are 9 ad-reward amounts: 0, 0.01, 0.025, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, and 0.3 BAT. :v:t6:

how to get 0.1 bat ads ?

if you are in this column left with multiple campaigns then chances are high if you `re not…be satisfied with that 0.01 bat :smiley:

Why I get only ads for protonmail?
Only one time I got ad that isn’t for protonmail.
Is this a glitch?

I already have Protonmail so I don’t click them and they don’t have any effect on me. If ads don’t have effect on people, advertisers don’t pay so we get only small amount of BAT.

It’s not a bug. When I used to get ads (now I don’t get them anymore, but that’s another story) most ads were from Protonmail and ProtonVPN.

Please make sure ads are available in your region; I recently built a small tool to help with this: https://sampson.codes/brave/ads/my_region/ . If nothing appears, ads are either not available in your region, or your machine is having problems communicating with the ads server.

There are 9 ad-reward amounts available in my region But I get paid only 0.010 BAT for each ad.

9 ad reward amounts doesn’t necessarily mean there are ads worth more than 0.01 BAT in a given catalog. If you’re only receiving 0.01 BAT per ad-view, it is likely the case that you’re seeing largely in-house ads. As demand increases for the Netherlands, you should see increased ad-reward earnings. I hope this helps!
