Cookies aren't saving across browsing sessions

Description of the issue:
My Brave install is not saving cookies if I have to restart the browser. It doesn’t matter if I, say, go to Twitter and check “Remember Me”, when I next start the browser, it will require me to log in. I make extensive use of 2FA across websites, so every time I have to log in to more than a few it becomes very tedious. There are other posts about this problem, but those seem to be 2 years old.

  • I do not have “clear on sign out” checked. In fact, under “Passwords and other sign-in data”, it just says “None” (but maybe ‘remember me’ check boxes don’t count as ‘sign-in data’…?)

  • If I do “Create New Profile”, that profile seems to operate correctly.

  • Installing the Beta channel worked correctly.

Is there a way to repair my existing profile so that I don’t have to migrate my bookmarks, open tabs, etc.?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. I honestly don’t know what caused this.

Expected result:
Websites would remember me when I check the “remember me” box.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.10.97 Chromium: 83.0.4103.116 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Does anyone have any tips for this by chance? Is there no way to troubleshoot this? Do I just need to recreate my profile?
