Clipboard bug on "paste as plain text"

Description of the issue:
This is a specific http://docs.google.com/spreadsheets issue. But when you copy data to clipboard you can’t paste it with ctrl+shift+v. You can paste it normally, but not without removing format.

You can copy data from the same tab and paste it as plain-text to that very same tab. You just can’t copy-paste from another tab into Google Spreadsheets.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open https://slashdot.org/ and copy some text to the clipboard
  2. Open https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/ and create a new sheet
  3. Do ctrl+v - pastes successfully
  4. Do ctrl+shift+v - nothing happens

Expected result:
Expected to get the clipboard data into the spreadsheet without formatting when pressing ctrl+shift+v

Turns out:
a) this is not a “brave only” thing. Happens with every other browser.
b) can be fixed by installing Google Docs Offline extension!
