Chewy.com Refuses To Load

Issue Summary:
When I navigate to https://www.chewy.com using Brave stable (Version 1.78.102 Chromium: 136.0.7103.113 on macOS 15.5 – build 24F74), the site fails to load entirely. The result is a completely blank white page with no error messages, loading indicators, or dev console errors visible on inspection.

Steps Taken:

  • I confirmed the issue persists in a private window with all extensions disabled, ruling out any extension conflicts.
  • I cleared all site data for chewy.com and restarted the browser—no change.

What’s Working:
Interestingly, when I use Brave Nightly (Version 1.81.17 Chromium: 137.0.7151.44), the site loads normally, even with the exact same extensions enabled. This suggests the issue may be related to a specific Chromium version or a regression in the current stable release.

Could your team take a look into this and advise whether there’s a known bug or compatibility issue in the current stable build that may be affecting rendering for chewy.com? I’d be happy to assist with debugging, share more logs, or test out any recommended fixes if needed.

Hello! I was unable to replicate the experience in 1.78.102 on macOS 15.5.

If you toggle Shields off do you see the same issue?

Yeah Chewy loads for me normally as well.

Thanks for the suggestion! I just tried turning Shields off completely, but unfortunately the issue still persists—Chewy.com still loads as a completely blank white page.

Interestingly, as I mentioned in my original post, the site loads just fine in Brave Nightly (Version 1.81.17), even with the exact same extensions enabled. That makes me think the issue might be tied specifically to the current stable build or Chromium version.
