Recently got Brave Wallet set up. Transferred one BAT from Coinbase to wallet as a test. Bat arrived but I got charged 9 BAT as transfer fees. How can I get coins into wallet cheaply?
ouch, that hurts. 
That was probably the network fee charge and network fees on the Ethereum network are outrageous. As far as I know, there isn’t currently a way to avoid that fee. The fees are less when you send during non-peak periods, but even then, unless you have a huge amount to transfer, the fee is probably going to be steep.
I’m new to crypto and Brave, so maybe there are alternatives. I haven’t ran across any but maybe someone more experienced can jump in and help!
