ChatGPT not working with Brave for many users

Description of the issue
For many users including me, Brave does not work well with ChatGPT. Sometimes the website itself fails to open, sometimes the log-in doesn’t work. At times users who are able to access the website say that respoonses aren’t produced. There are many other reports and complaints similar to mine that have sadly gone unaddressed.
This is a very serious issue and it is annoying that for months it has been ignored. The first complaints I saw were from March.

The issue is weird. Happens for some users, doesn’t happen for others. But it needs to be fixed ASAP.

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Open the chatgpt website (https://chatgpt.com/)
2. Perhaps Sign-in with google

Expected result
The website for ChatGPT should open but instead it is stuck loading forever

v 1.67.134 (latest as per 7/23/2024)

I’ve used multiple Chromium based browsers, and they all don’t work, sometimes they do.

What I do, is I clear cookies, login via Google again, do my 2FA and then the page loads, If I where to close the page, open it again I would have to clear my cookies again since I would be in a endless load loop.

Even as of now (for me) the clearing cookies don’t work anymore and I have to use a different browser.

It is a pain in the ass, since Brave can’t do anything about it and OpenAI is lazy or something.

Just use firefox (Even with FireFox I someimes have issues but rarely)
