When users don’t respond, there’s not much that can be done. Often, something broken in one version may be fixed in another. If users don’t update their posts, it’s assumed the issue is resolved or they moved on.
Another issue is that threads can get hijacked or go off-topic. Plus, some users create multiple topics and posts, sometimes ignoring the help offered.
