Please advise.

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Expected result: Use chrome pdf viewer instead

Reproduces how often: every time

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu): every operating system

Additional Information:

@we4321,
What issues do you have with the Pdf viewer?
Also IIRC, pdf.js is the default viewer in both chrome and brave.

A few issues.

  1. When viewing pdf’s, the top black nav bar is visible. In chrome it automatically disappears as you read/scroll. The top black nav bar is distracting as it is blocking the top portion of the pdf.

  2. Unable to to copy the URL because it is prefixed with “chrome-extension://oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm/” in the search bar.

PDF.js (the viewer currently used in Stable releases of Brave) has been replaced with PDFium (the viewer used in Chrome today). You can currently view this new support in our Nightly build, and soon in our Developer build.
