One months of use. The bug didn’t happen anymore. Version used: Brave Beta 1.48.132
Note that I’m an android user that had already reported the issue (months and months ago) and not an IOS user.

I have another unrelated concern: why I can’t install extensions on android? I miss them dearly. I don’t want to switch to firefox (that allowa you to do so).
@Sergio1992 let me inform you that at this moment adding extensions to android is not supported.

Hi Mattches, please tell me you haven’t given up? When I click on Brave app, I still have whiteout screen for about 30 seconds then app closes. I have a vast body of work I need to transfer (Not sure if a permanent solution can be found? Thinking I will be giving iPad the flick after this, it’s been highly stressful and cost me much time and effort). Thanks

I have opened the issue and unfortunately there is not much else we can do here until the team takes a look. I will ping the iOS team internally and check to see if there is any other information I can get for them that might help them resolve the issue.
Thank you for following up. I can’t be the only one affected, a lot of others have iPads. I’ll use a different device going forward but need to retrieve almost three years of work from the iPad (before I ditch it - I will never own one again). Thanks
Hi Mattches, It’s been almost two months I cannot access Brave and all of my work. Please reassure me the team is looking into this? I am completely stuck. I don’t understand the vulnerability but surely there is a fix for those who know what they are doing? I keep getting ‘this topic has been solved’ and to start a new topic. You open the app, it’s stuck for 10-20 seconds then it crashes?

March 2023. Brave crashes, goes white, shuts down. Out of the blue……why is this happening all of a sudden?? I am forced to use safari now….NOT HAPPY! No gaming is done. Only general searches, emails. No movies, no game playing. Nothing downloaded recently.
I have passcode enabled and I’m always prompted to enter my passcode. When the app is functioning normally there is a padlock icon that shows up before the passcode screen, but when the app is not working it doesn’t show the lock icon.
I have many many tabs open. It is likely several hundred. I also have a ton of bookmarks. I was working on cleaning those up (by opening the links first, hence the tab count).
This issues has been going on since november 2022 and corrected itself for like 2 weeks at the end of december and then returned to not working.
@Kevin_cc just had the issue with brave white screen. It took a long time, but it finally happened.
The browser is completely unresponsive now and showing a white screen.
