Cant switch to another application while Brave is running

Description of the issue:

When Brave is running i can not use any other app:

  • if Brave is in focus and if i try to switch to another app (Like Finder, or Settings or any other) for half a second the switch is done but then Brave is automagically again back in focus
  • that means I can not use any other app while Brave is running
  • I have to close Brave if I want to use any other App

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Start Finder
  2. Then Start Brave
  3. Then switch to Finder with CMD + Tab

Expected result:
I can use Finder.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave Version 1.40.113 Chromium: 103.0.5060.114 (Offizieller Build) (x86_64)

Additional Information:

  • with macOS Big Sur Version 11.6.7 (20G630)
  • on a MacBook (Retina, 12-inch, Early 1215)
