Description of the issue:
Can’t use standard Mac OS keyboard to switch between Brave windows on MacOS
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open more than one Brave window
- Type keyboard shortcut: Command + ` (tilde)
Expected result:
Cycle between open Brave windows when using the keyboard shortcut
Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.77.95 Chromium: 135.0.7049.52 (Official Build) (arm64)
Additional Information:
This keyboard shortcut is broken for a long time (yes, I searched) because it has been reported, confirmed and discussed for years. But I just got a Mac and I can’t find the current fix.
Everything I could find no longer works or the solution is obsolete because the described steps no longer exist. Can anyone please tell me if there is CURRENTLY a way to cycle between open Brave windows on Mac? I feel like the answer needs to come from a Mac user who is using the latest version. Please don’t share a link to a solution (or copy from it) unless you are able to actually test the solution to confirm that it works because there is a very high probability I already saw it and it isn’t working.
Another person reported this same issue in February but did not get any help. I’m not even sure it was flagged as a new issue to the devs.
The person in February said this shortcut is not working in Safari either, but is does work in Safari for me. So if Safari was broken, Apple fixed it.
