Can't re-verify with Gemini in UK

Briefly describe your issue:

I’ve had a Gemini account for over a year and verified it with my brave rewards account over a year ago. Each month my BAT rewards went through to my Gemini account without issue. Then, last Oct Gemini auto disconnected from my brave rewards account (I didn’t do this). I assumed this was a glitch and waited on Brave to sort it out.
I have today been catching up with the changes to Brave rewards and specifically use of a Gemini account. I see that as my Gemini account had already been verified with my Brave rewards account I should now be able to reconnect it. But I can’t. I get the ‘not available in your region’ message.
I have read several other threads here saying the same thing but none of them show a successful resolution to this issue, so I am adding my request for help here in the hope the issue can be fixed.

Is your Brave Rewards Profile currently verified? (yes/no)

It was, with Gemini, but it now says it isn’t.

What date did you connect a your Brave Rewards Profile?

Late 2021.

Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?

Yes. Until Oct 2022 my BAT rewards went through to Gemini OK.

Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)

Not now.

Thank you for the help. That looks like it has worked and my Gemini account is reconnected. There was 11.5 vBat in my browser which is now not showing in my browser nor in my Gemini account. Will this land in my Gemini account at some point?

Yes. It sometimes takes upto 24 hours to show up in Gemini.

Excellent and I can confirm the outstanding vBAT has now landed in my account, so everything looks good here now. Thanks again for the help.

I’ve got the same issue - fully verified and functional Gemini account in UK - now cannot reconnect it to Brave to receive my vBAT. The brave://flags solution doesn’t work for me - Gemini appears but still gives the “region unsupported” issue. My creator account is connected but won’t receive anything until the region becomes supported (again).

I’ve used Brave for years and was never able to verify with Uphold. They rejected my passport as “too low resolution” and the feature to match my face to the passport photograph never worked on either my phone or my laptop. It was maddening and Uphold offered no support. They even failed to remove my account when I requested its removal in accordance with the GDPR legislation and the “right to be forgotten”.

When Gemini was added, I leaped at it and everything went smoothly and worked fine. Now it is Brave that have thrown a spanner in the works for no apparent reason. I’m glad my creator account was in its infancy. If I relied on it for earnings I’d be completely stuffed now. I really liked the idea of BAT and the advertising driven ecosystem around it but withdrawing vBAT without viable working choices of account being available is nonsensical.
