Can't play HD videos on Vudu

Description of the issue:
I am unable to play movies in HD on Vudu. The website says that I can only play the videos in SD due to connectivity issues.

Reproduces how often:
All of the time. I also tried on another computer (also Windows 8.1) and I had the same problem.

Brave Version(about:brave):
Version 0.59.35 Chromium: 72.0.3626.81 (Official Build) (32-bit)

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Yes

Additional Information:
I do notice a brave popup that says that widevine is not installed. I wouldn’t think that that’s causing the problem, though.

@carrierPigeon Can you try by disabling Ads and trackers option in shield settings and try again.
Also, make sure Auto play option is selected to Always allow
