Can't link Brave and uphold after 2FA activation

When I first linked it worked beautifully, but then I activated 2FA in Uphold and now I have to "login to uphold to see your balance. When I try everything is smooth, right up until they send me a link to pres, to confirm it’s me. This link open uphold in a new brave tap, and does nothing to link the accounts. It reminds me of the old days of digital payment apps, where the app send you back to the wrong place.
Uphold said the issue was on Braves side.

@Jonse we need more information in order to try to figure anything out.

At a minimum, you need to provide the information from the two questions below whenever you post here.

  1. Which OS are you using? (such as Windows 11, Android 12, etc)

  2. Which version of Brave are you on?

For example, if you tell me that you’re using Android I’d ask if you’re using the Uphold app on it. Long ago it used to be an issue where people had to uninstall Uphold app in order for the connection to go through. This is because the login needs to occur within the browser but when you went to log in, it was launching the Uphold app instead.

I’m on android ND I have the newest version of brave. I will try and uninstall the uphold app, even though it did do everything in browser before.

It didn’t work, but I got a new error that says it’s Upholds fault ,:v::blush:

What does it say? You need to share errors so as to get help for issues.

So the issue with seeing my uphold account balance just through the “triangle” hasn’t been solved, but my all my browsers are now successfully linked to my uphold wallet and the BATs are coming in, so it works, even though I have to check the balance at uphold.

That’s probably cause that your Uphold account has BATs in different cards. If you just simply transfer them to one brave browser card, I guess that should solve the issue. I’ll tag @Saoiray to help too, I don’t have much experience with Uphold actually.
