I can’t update to the latest version of Brave as my Mac is running on Mojave, but I cannot get rid of the “Can’t update Brave” warning appearing every time I start the browser. It is quite annoying.
Is there any way to get rid of it?
My Brave version is 1.57.64 Chromium

They were not smart enough to let you download an older updated version like other software does on the Mac.
I just deleted Brave from a High Sierra machine.
They also are not smart enough to provide a solution to their lock file jamming up the startup.
Like most coders they don’t give a f u c k about user input, they worry more about their bitcoin b u l l s h i t than fixing problems.
