Cannot establish sync connection between windows desktop/laptop

Description of the issue:

Nothing happens when I click on “Confirm Sync Code” on laptop.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

1, get code from Desktop Brave.

  1. transfer to desktop.

  2. paste it in the “Enter a sync code” box

  3. click “Confirm Sync Code” button

  4. Nothing happens

Expected result:

Confirmed sync connection

Everytime I tried it over the past five days.
