I’ve gone through that. Still have a question: Since May '23 i’ve not received any funds. I’ve had the DEAD Gemini issue since that date. IF I move from Gemini to Uphold or Brave Wallet, will my funds due to me for the last 10 months transfer to that new Wallet? What do you suggest for someone in my/our shoes? Disconnect and go to another wallet?

@DDTofLA I’m not sure which issue you’re saying. If you had been connected and only was logged out of the widget portion, you should have continued earning and receiving payment at Gemini.
If you’re saying it’s a browser/device/profile that never was connected to Gemini, then you earned nothing. At the beginning of 2023, it was required to connect to a custodial account. Then you had until the end of October for any legacy vBAT to be transferred over. So if you never connected because you were waiting for Gemini, then it’s all gone.
Correct. It’s been a long time. Gemini is pretty much dead in the water. People haven’t been able to connect. If you look at the link that asks if you are in a supported region., you would see the below:
Notice how it says Gemini is only available for Creators? And even then, it’s only for USA? This means you wouldn’t be in a supported region because Gemini is not supported at this time.
I know they were looking at trying to make it able to be connected for existing users and all, but it just hasn’t happened. While Chris and others from Brave were saying they were working on it, after several months of no changes, it became clear to me that things aren’t going well and the likelihood of things being “fixed” were looking slim.
Thanks - It’s always just shown “Logged Out” on gemini. I thought I was connected? Each month it shows my earnings and that i’ve been paid out. See photo here from today. I guess i should just kill it (reset) and link to new wallet. What is best wallet suggestion at the moment?
No, it says brave.com is a creator. Creators are content creators , such as website owners or people with YouTube channels. You would register those sites with Brave and become a Verified Creator that can receive tips.

Well, it’s like I said in the one you’re replying to…
So yeah…if you’ve been connected then you are just logged out on the browser side but you’ll continue receiving payments as they have you connected on the back end.
As to reconnecting, it’s been a very long time of people experiencing this issue.

But then you might also want to check out links I listed at PSA: Known issue with Gemini (Gemini is down) in regards to issues Gemini has been having.
Your best bet is probably to leave things alone for the moment. On chain payments should be coming before long. They just did one of the first official teasers on it today with https://brave.com/boomerang/ announcement. Once they move on to this, then you’ll be able to just receive your BAT directly rather than having to worry about a custodial partner like Gemini.
When we inquired today if thought Gemini issues might get resolved before on chain payments, and the answer was probably not.
