Cannot click on anything after opening a YouTube video

Description of the issue: (very similar to this 2021 community post) - Going to the normal youtube.com website works fine, but once I click on a video and go to the page, I cannot click on anything, pause the video, or do anything besides scroll or close/refresh the tab. Like the previous linked issue, refreshing the page does not work but opening in a private window solves the issue until a refresh. However, not even the keyboard controls work for me, which I find odd since they apparently worked for the previous user.
How can this issue be reproduced? going to youtube.com and clicking on a video while logged in

Expected result: Should be able to click on videos, like comments, type, etc.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.57.53 Chromium: 116.0.5845.114 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: I do have a few extentions but none of them should affect Youtube other than Adblock for Youtube™ and Return Youtube Dislikes

Just wanted to update that I got keyboard controls working again after logging back out and in again. Still not sure why they weren’t working earlier.

Never make assumptions on extensions. Code between extensions and browsers can go crazy. Just because it’s built for YouTube doesn’t mean it won’t have impacts on other things.

Also, you shouldn’t need Adblock for YouTube. Brave Shields handles all of it.

As to Return YouTube Dislikes, that’s broken a number of things in the past. One such example is below:

A little Update: I tested some of the Extensions i had installed and tested every Extension over a Time of 8 Hours and found that Return Youtube Dislike crashed my Brave. i had no more crashes since i removed it. Dont know if it was only this Extension but i will test some more and report if its crashing again

@MagicBraden1 just to be clear, you’re not having this issue anymore, right?

I am actually still having the issue, my comment correction was rather saying that my issue now directly matched the other linked issue, as I’m still unable to click on anything after the video page loads even after refresh.

I did not realize that these two plugins might affect this, when I return to my computer after this weekend, I’ll test to see if it makes a difference. I installed Adblock for YT because even with Brave Shields I still got ads, but I will try disabling both after this weekend to see. My issue is still unresolved as of now

I have been having the same issue for about a week now.
I believe Youtube must of made an update to it’s code.

The issue for me was being caused by my YoutubeAdBlocker™ Extension being turned on
SOLUTION: Disable YoutubeAdBlocker™
(Return Youtube Dislike Button still works fine.)

I have been testing a few other Youtube Adblock extensions but I haven’t found one yet.
