Cannot add new specific search engine

Description of the issue: Cannot add a specific search engine either from the “search engine” view (brave://settings/searchEngines) or from the “site sesarch” sub menu
How can this issue be reproduced?

1. When going to brave://settings/searchEngines i cannot add a specific search engine like on mobile (no ADD button), only delete the ones listed, and in “site search” there is an “ADD” button but once configured we cannot set one my default (option grayed out)

Brave Version( check About Brave): v1.70.117 (Sep 19, 2024)

Please let me configure the search engine i want to use, just like already available on the iOS version

@Wanagenafow you can indeed add. If it’s not allowing you to Make Default then most likely you have done something wrong in the info. If you go to edit the listing, what does it look like for your Searx?
