when i click manage profiles, all the profiles are being showed there but not any option to delete them. i saw a comment somewhere that she was able to delete them through options opened for her after clicking a 3 dots editing button. but i’m not seeing anything of such kind. i completely deleted brave and installed again but i’m getting the same profiles opened. what to do?

Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately there’s no way to delete this profile data at this time. We’re working on fleshing out the profile manager functionality and we appreciate your patience in the interim.

My bad, that is inaccurate. If you go to the Profile menu --> Manage profiles, click the 3-dots menu, then Remove this profile.

Hover on the Profile 1 / Profile 2 square and you’ll see it appear on the top right of each square.
problem not solved. they are coming again even after deleting. and also the desktop shortcut too, creating by itself. desktop shortcut is in off mode in settings by default and i too did not change it. still it is coming every time along with old profile

i mean, a desktop shortcut is being created by itself for the profile(even when the desktop shortcut option is in off mode in settings). and the profiles i deleted are also restoring by themselves

So when I tested, I opened Brave, went to Profile menu --> Manage Profiles --> Add profile. I created a profile name and icon, then ensured that the Create desktop shortcut for this user was de-selected. A new window with the new profile launched, but I don’t see any shortcut icons for it on my desktop.
but I’m getting it. but my main problem is profile restoration. i might have deleted it for at least 70-80 times but it comes back every time I open the browser. i don’t like it and i want it gone. any permanent solution?

I had the same problem and the three dots did appear when I hovered my pointer over the profile square, but they were white and very hard to notice even when I was looking for them.
