Description of the issue:
Downloads is set to download files to the DESKTOP. Instead, Brave ROUTINELY downloads it to the Users/(My Name) Folder, or to the Downloads folder, or wherever it feels like that day.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Settings>More Options>Downloads>Location: Set to desktop.
Brave Browser: Screw you, I’m sending it to the Users folder today.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Poof! Shows up in the wrong folder, causing me to have to search for it/move it to the desktop–a huge drag on time when you have deadlines and are at work. This reduces productivity greatly, and encourages me to use other browsers where download locations STAYS LOCKED TO MY SETTINGS.
Download to where I tell it to, not where it feels like on a whim. Override MS OS settings (if any).
