The Brave file manager will not list mounted FAT32 file partitions for download/upload in xubuntu. Partitions are user/group denoted as root/plugdev, and Brave apparently only lists root/root. This is unique to Brave; other browsers do not have this problem. I want to avoid a recursive chgrp to root/root as unpredictable wrt o/s & other apps. Is there a way to get Brave to recognize plugdev group as accessible?
