Transaction Issue
I sent 12,681.66 USDT (BEP-20) via Brave Wallet to HTX exchange, but funds were not credited.

.
Questions:
- Can Brave Wallet add warnings for unsupported networks (e.g., BEP-20 to ERC-20)?
- Is there a way to escalate this to HTX?
Hello! The transaction hash you provided shows a different recipient address.
Oh no, mistake
On [14/05/2025], I sent 12,681.66 USDT via BEP-20 from my Brave Wallet to HTX exchange.
Issue: HTX refuses to credit the funds, claiming the contract is “unverified”.
HTX support answer:
“Hello, we have received feedback from our specialist regarding your deposit issue. Since the contract address of your deposit order has not been officially verified, it is not supported for processing. This digital asset type has not completed contract verification and its security cannot be verified. We are currently unable to directly assist in processing. If you need refund assistance, please contact the project party to complete the contract verification before feedback and request help.”
Please note, the USDT contract/tokens you’ve provided do not appear to be legitimate. I believe HTX is correct in stating the contract is not verified.
You’ll need to work with HTX for any tokens missing after depositing to their platform.
Thank you!
if you say that it has nothing to do with it and htx support can’t help either? where is my money? the amount is big
From HTX support
who is project party ? the transfer was from your wallet
Unfortunately, this is a common phishing scam and you were not sent a legitimate token.
Token Contract in question: https://bscscan.com/token/0x875ee834c17822138ce276cba3197c7d82bfea80
There is no mention of USDT and it shows up as UNVERIFIED. The legitimate USDT token would show up as verified, like the example linked here. It is common for scammers to create fake USDT token contracts to attempt to phish users’ funds.
I have sent you a DM if you have any further questions. Thanks!
