Last night I installed Brave on a ‘new’ refurbished MacBook Pro 15’ (2014) running on Big Sur, and made it my default browser. After about 1 hour on (new) battery power, the battery went down to 40% and I plugged to recharge.
Today I check the battery and I get the alert that Brave Browser is taking too much energy - I am not on youtube, I have gmail open + 2 windows of Brave support.
Safari had no issues.
