Brave using significant amounts of energy after update (Mac)

Hello,

After updating the browser, I noticed a significant increase in energy usage and longer page loading times.

Brave Version: Version 1.48.1 58 Chromium: 110.0.5481.77 (Official Build) (arm64)
OS: MacOS 13.1

Thank you for reaching out and I’m sorry to hear you are going through this. Can you try disabling Hardware Acceleration in settings, to see if this resolves the issue?

You’ll find this in Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration.
