How can this issue be reproduced?
- Attempted use and update trips Avast antivirus (screenshot). Can’t update or use without constant threat popups. Please advise.

It’s likely some of the privacy/security features in the browser that is setting off Avast — easiest way around this would be to simply whitelist the Brave application.
