Brave Talk stuck in infinite refresh loop on desktop until 403

Description of the issue:
I try to use Brave Talk (both free and premium run into issue) on the desktop browser on Windows 10, and as soon as I start a call it gets stuck in an endless refresh loop on “Locating meeting room.”

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Go to
  2. Click start call - free or premium doesn’t matter

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
Endless refresh until 403 error. Video (with dev console open):

Expected result:
Eventually a video call begins.

Reproduces how often:
Every time.

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
Windows 10 Pro.
Brave 1.29.81

Additional Information:
Tried manually disabling extensions, tried reinstalling Brave. Still have issue.

Hi @ksbrar, thanks for reporting. Can you show us the Network panel in your Developer Tools? Please ensure that Persist logs is checked when reproducing it. It is likely a cached redirect or something similar. Thank you!
