Description of the issue:
I have a Dell Laptop with W11 OS. After I have been on my Brave browser for awhile without opening new pages/tabs, brave will not load any new pages even though the tabs that are already open continue to work on their current page. The tabs open but are blank
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Very simple, open a few tabs and leave them open for awhile (At least an hour, maybe two.) The try opening a new website or new tab and it will not load.
Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
The little xx eyed emoji will appear in the tab and the page will be blank.
Expected result:
New tab should load dashboard or new website.
Reproduces how often:
Every day, several times a day especially if I walk away for a while.
Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
I have Windows 11 and Brave version 1.66.118
Additional Information:
I noticed this after an OS update a few months ago. I do not know which update it was at this point and I cannot say for certain that it was the cause of the issue. If I close the browser then reopen, it works normally again.
