Brave can't open new pages

Description of the issue:
Everytime I try and open a new tab, no matter what it is, just opens and then sits trying to load before it says page unresponsive. This even happens when I attempt to open Settings.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. Open new tab.
    Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
    Tab opens to a dark grey screen and then just loads before eventually saying page unresponsive.
    Expected result:
    Page opens normally.
    Reproduces how often:
    Every time I try to open a new tab.
    Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):
    Windows 10, Brave version v1.67.123

Ahh, yes. They have too much bloat these days causing all sorts of issues. When this happens to me, I close the faulty tab & try reopening the link again. That usually works. Trouble is, when I open multiple tabs at once & some don’t load properly, sometimes I forget which piece of information is missing.
