Brave is up to date: Version 1.38.111 Chromium: 101.0.4951.54 (Official Build) (64-bit) Windows 10 PC. The shield settings are all default, yet the shield is off by default for every new page I visit. Why is this? It makes this browser pointless. [image]

This solution via Reddit solved the problem for me:

Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data > Advanced > Site and Shields Settings

Clear it for all time .
