I switched from DDG to Brave Search when it was released but am switching back. I like the Brave layout but too many of the Brave results are dead ends, i.e., links to sites or pages that are no longer in existence. This suggests that the Brave crawler, or however the links are initially established, is not updated frequently enough.
Too bad. Just one more Brave feature, like sync, that did not come up to expectations.
Please could you provide specifics about DDG. I understand that the company profits from advertising but I have adblockers and never see ads. Do they track?
